This article is brave enough to say that CRM is dead. Killed by the very premise it was built upon–customer relationship. This is because many companies use CRM as a one-way tool to only monitor customers forgetting that its main purpose is to build relationships.
We all have to remember that customer is king. This has never been truer than now. Social media has taken over the power of customer interaction. Engagement no longer means talking on the phone.
